Just make sure you are ok with failing to see Condors if you go. We saw some vultures and pretended they were Condors so it worked out ok. We have a bunch here at the SB zoo anyway.
Some good hiking in Pinnacles, and caves! Also you should go at the right time to see the bats. They close off parts of the caves during mating season.
