Did you go full baller and cut the donut in half and use it as the bread?
No, I treated the donut like dessert. It was fresh and so goooooood!!!
And I just had me a slice of banana bread!!!
A little time in the oven or toaster oven to lovingly reheat the nachos woulda helped. Le sigh…
If you like cold food, we could go for futomaki at a sushi place some time, followed by green tea ice cream.
sushi - bleck
green tea ice cream - yums
Turkey and guacamole on a jalapeno and cheese croissant
pastrami omelete
Sounds like a tasteful nood.
Oh, I also had some of the latest flavors of Lays potato chips - funyun flavored.
Being a sucker for their weird flavored chips, I also bought a bag of cheetos flavored chips (I skipped the doritos flavored). It wasn’t until I got home that it dawned on me that the real cheetos were right next to the potato chips and there really isn’t any good reason to go cheetos potato chips over cheetos.
Futomaki or a bento box for you then!!!
I’m having a lobster roll at DCA. As airport food goes, it’s pretty amazing.
Yesterday was a shitshow and I was all out of Fs to give.
I had that 2 weeks ago!
By the Southwest gates in Terminal 1?
Yep!
How much did that cost? I love a good lobster roll, but probably would have avoided paying top $ for one at an airport for fear it would be bad. Glad it worked out for you.
$25 plus tax and tip. I had a slight headache and it was quieter there than in the other eating areas.
I took the Metro to and from the airport for $5 when everybody else spent $50 each way on an Uber. So I’m going to expense this, my manager knows I’m normally a cheap date and I doubt one $35 meal will raise eyebrows.
Same, our flight was delayed and there weren’t many places to eat in that terminal. And hardly any place to sit. They made me fly Southwest, so they can pay for lunch.
