Waffles
Homemade hot and sour soup. I like the broth/hot and sour flavor more than the other stuff that comes in carry out hot and sour soup, and I don’t like the carbs from the added corn starch, so I made my own. I typically have all of these ingredients on hand anyway. Posting here for posterity.
4 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup water
2 eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp black vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp white pepper
Boil broth and water, reduce heat, add eggs slowly while stirring to make ribbons, bring back to simmer, add vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Consume immediately!
For breakfast this morning I had cereal in the form of Chex Mix.

I’ll probably have a left-over pork chop and some red cabbage.
I don’t understand the response.

If I was making it with any kind of effort, I would add some pork and some mushrooms. But no bamboo or tofu!
The response was not intended to, but nonetheless shows an inability to read on my part.

Today will be leftover pasta and meat sauce I made Saturday.
It’s
Tuesday, $0.99 tacos! There aren’t a ton of advantages to living in Kansas, but food prices are pretty reasonable, so I’ve got that going for me.
Scrambled egg, avocado, and cheese sammich. Also polished off some leftover baby bok choy.
kung pao chicken for breakfast. i’ll probably have something light for lunch later.
And I’ve got too many eggs and avocados right now, so the scrambled egg, avocado, and cheese sandwich sounds like a good choice for dinner.
Met my wife and son at Panera instead.
leftover Butter Chicken with Paneer and vegi-rice pilaf
I had to fit something between meetings, so ended up grabbing a Big Mac for convenience.
