Wednesday Weekly Weigh-in

Not all of it is actual weight gain. I doubt you consumed an excess 60,000 calories on your vacation!

A good chunk was likely water retention from traveling and eating higher sodium foods than you normally would. Traveling can also cause some constipation issues. I find I can gain 5-10 pounds when I fly.

Some of it is literal food bulk weight. That takes a few days for me to see even out. And then I’m left with the couple pounds of actual weight gain, and that’s what comes off at the normal pace.

Half sounds about right. I think it would be pretty easy to eat an extra 2k calories a day at an all inclusive, especially if you are drinking calories on top of the meals. Weight beyond that is just bulk in your GI and water retention, but you may have already seen most of what will adjust there.

Consistent - weighed 146 the day prior.

I’m interviewing, so stopped using prescription cannabis just in case. To help it out of my system, I’ve been walking 8-12 miles/day on my treadmill while working, so there’s ~1100 calories/day burnt. I’m fine at 145 but don’t think it would be healthy to go under 140. I’ve still been eating an average of maybe 2,200 calories/day… will probably have a second breakfast today.

Already on the treadmill today.
