Should try to cap him at Nations League or Copa.

U17 World Cups to be held in Qatar for the next five straight years, moving from biennial schedule.
Morocco gets the ladies’ tournament through 2029. Guessing a money move.
Possibly a sustainability move as well. Hosts have to build all of this infrastructure to only be used once or twice.
Well, these things are not all that well-attended. Family mostly, I think.
But, it is probably prudent to have a Men’s WC host do the next four years or something like that, of at least one of the age groups.

I think hosting the damned thing is inhibiting their prep. Only friendlies during most international windows. Some stars electing to sit out rather than fly thousands of miles. I hope the September, October, and November windows are friendlies in Europe. not sure whom they can play, as UEFA Nations League will be starting up. CONMBEBOL filled those slots with some of their 18-match WC qualification, The Decagon!
Guess they’ll play MEX and CAN over and over and over.
SemiFinal match starts soon v Jamaica, mon!
Jamaica without Antonio, mon.
Wow. Let’s go!
That was certainly an example of snatching victory from the jaws of the defeat. Two nice assists from Reyna there.
Canada qualified for COPA America today so will also get to play some CONMEBOL matches. They may go 0-3 in their Group (Argentina, Peru, Chile) but they need to play teams other than CONCACAF ones to improve.
I think Dest just out his phone and posted an IG of himself
Sick shot by Adams
From way downtown
I tend not to love the idea of instant replay / VAR in sports, but if it continues to lead to yellow cards for simulation then I’m on board.
MEX should have its 2026 hosting duties taken away.

We await the mass punching of noses and saying soh-ry by CAN fans, making it a true US hosting affair!!
Having it in the US doesn’t seem to deter the Mexican fans from doing their thing.
Hurts their federation, who does nothing to stop it. No education, no nothing.
And, US makes more money.
Not sure the host country cities make much if anything on the games. We’re getting updated cost estimates for Vancouver and Toronto matches and they have ballooned. Excuse by FIFA for Vancouver is additional games.
Travel monies! All that sweet, sweet tax!!
I will enjoy these games for the excitement they bring not for any local financial benefits. I expect it will be like the Olympics: a blast but a money loser.
USA tends not to build brand new stadiums only to leave them unused. We have plenty of stadiums. Heck, we could host it three times in a row and not use the same stadium twice.
