But you do need to bring proof of citizenship like a Notarized Birth Certificate or US Passport. Not everyone has those lying around handy.
I am trying to understand here. Are we saying we can deregister you today and tomorrow you can re-register provided you have the proper documents? And then getting the required documents becomes the bottleneck.

Were those people who were removed naturalized citizens? I am guessing they have a much higher likelihood of having the necessary docs. They would have produced when registering in the first place, right?
On the flip side, my state’s purge was halted. We don’t have same day registration.
Depends on the state. In MA, the in person registration has expired.
Yes, almost exclusively naturalized citizens. They were purged because they had said that they weren’t citizens on a DMV form, and most are people who subsequently became citizens and registered. The state could easily have cross checked their list with a list of people who became citizens and been more accurate.

I agree the state should use all sources available to it rather than being aggressive in purging.
Note, my opinion is all based on news reports, not the actual case filing or scotus ruling. So i would change it as i become aware of more facts.
The SCOTUS ruling is just the result without an opinion b/c it is a shadow docket ruling.

Shocked they didn’t hire people from outside the U.S. on a work visa to do this. Also seems like the perfect kind of thing you’d hire illegal immigrants for, especially with the threat part.
Just watched the clip and he misses the handle and almost falls. His age is an issue more than Biden now.

Honestly I think the guy would look way better if he aged without his makeup and comb-over/whatever is on his head.
The guy on the right looks like some standard Eastern European head of state. His eyes don’t bulge out so much when they’re not lined in negative space of no makeup.

Albuquerque refused to let Trump use the convention center unless his campaign paid the $445k that it owed from the previous election, so they moved his rally to the airport tarmac. They planned on having people park at the convention center then bussing them to the airport (hopefully this time paying the bus drivers to drive them back afterwards!) but the lease doesn’t allow the parking lot to be used for events not held at the convention center.
