Obviously, what we need most is to make it easier to oust the speaker.
Then we can quickly and easily find a replacement that everyone likes.

WTF? Why are his socks on upside-down? The little rubber parts go on the bottom of your foot.
How would we know they were hospital socks if he weren’t wearing them upside down?

the ones I have seen (way too much) are tube socks and the rubber is both top and bottom (less dealing with making sure they are on correctly)

I forgot to turn off CNN after the adjournment…so I just heard them report that the agreement to flip the no-Kevins includes a promise that any proposal to raise the debt ceiling will be accompanied with spending cuts, something that the Senate and White House are unlikely to go along with.
Looks like we’re going to have another game of government debt default chicken later this year…but that was probably going to happen regardless.

The way this has gone down, feels like these morons are going to allow the US to default on it’s debt.
It certainly feels like mccarthy will let the us default if that is required for him to stay speaker.

I think there isn’t much that McCarthy wouldn’t agree to if it gets him the Speaker’s seat.
