Amy Acton is awful and her staff are pressuring people to delete social media posts by OH dems that criticize her.
Really?? Why do Ds hate her? (I mean it’s obvious why they and anyone with a functioning brain cell hate Ramasmarmy.)
this. this so hard. I get 2 states worth where i live. sigh
Wait, there are actuaries who aren’t watching streaming and who are seeing ads on TV?
They’re probably cheap and getting the streaming with ads level of service.
Some of our streamings are premium, some not.
Yes Toto, there are indeed actuaries who watch live sports programs.
It’s probably worth asking: At this point, what sporting events are not available via streaming?
(I should disclaim that I only really watch Premier League and Champions League football, so I haven’t really needed to go looking.)
The only thing I watch on “TV” is the NFL. I don’t bother to record the games, so I get ads. I usually don’t mind them as I only pay attention during plays. Everything else I watch is ad free.
So great that this system is now allowed to be used.
Unfortunately, what will happen if DHS finds just one person anywhere, is they will use that to justify whatever they have planned for their next step.
Remember that non-trivial numbers of Christians earnestly believe other people who call themselves Christian risk damning their eternal soul to Hell because the other doesn’t believe in literal transubstantiation, or is gay, or says the wrong Creed, or baptizes at the wrong age. Even in the areas where Christianity largely “agrees”, you’ll find nitpicks to bicker over.
What seems like a Christ-like and unproblematic statement to a secular observer can sound like heresy to some. If one is already primed to dislike the speaker, then it’s that much more appealing to pick apart their “incorrect” doctrine.
So despite Talarico’s lifelong Christian beliefs and being a seminarian studying for a Masters of Divinity, to some listeners he will doubtless say wrong things about Christianity.
It is extremely wasteful for humans to go around chopping down trees for tables when they have perfectly good tummies to eat on!
Praise Science!
I’m disheartened by the thought of the Dems simply allowing some of this BS to happen because it’s more likely to swing seats in their favor than actually doing anything about it. The sad part isn’t the strategic choice…cuz they’re probably correct…but the recognition that people change their minds only when bad things happen, as opposed to being educated enough to recognize good things well enough to act on them.
We have been dealing with Trump in politics for a decade. Yes, it’s frustrating, but a logical conclusion given the other opportunities to not re-elect him.
We need to start picking better leaders and focus on things that are important again, not the culture war BS that Republicans have used as a distraction to real issues. They are the party of “fiscal responsibility” and that has fallen apart on their watch.
Some pain is actually needed to learn this lesson.
…and while it looks like there has been enough pain to bump the political pendulum “the other way”, there still hasn’t been enough shock and pain to completely shift the pendulum out of its current rut.
Laws, schmaws.
You know it’s REALLY illegal when this administration’s workerbees proactively seek to avoid having their names attached to the documentation.
