I really can’t tell anymore, that’s, that’s real?
Yes, it is.
Good on all those religious Christians who voted for him I suppose…
It’s a good look for him. That colour suits him.
Some of them are quite anti-papist.
So, those anti Papists, want Trump to be pope?
That’s the interesting dichotomy. Do you want an authoritarian in control of one phase of your life and not another?
Or is it a good way to disrupt the Catholic Church is to make Trump Pope.
And I’d say either the artist/AI doesn’t understand iconography or it does and is sending the real message.
Peaches and cream.
Cheeto orange complements liturgical white?
And he goes on to say at the University of Alabama:
“Gasoline prices just hit $1.88 cents a gallon in three states,” Trump said. “Can you believe it?”
No, I can’t. Why don’t more people openly challenge such a blatant lie?
No one has a big enough fact-check staff. That guy on CNN needed a long vacation during the first term.
I’d love to see someone rent out a hundred billboards and post an ongoing list of lies, numbered, of course. I am not that someone.
Some stations on the way to the speech from the air base could have been told to lower the gas prices when tRump rolled by.
See? Fact. Checked!
Yes, I just made that up. Why you ask?
Also, on whatever he posted that, no one is allowed to fact-check it with impunity.
No need for fact-checkers on the gas lie. Anyone going to their local gas station for a fill-up can see with her/his own eyes that the price is not under $2.
Or is this one of those “who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes” things?
He’s commenting on wholesale prices, not retail.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s unaware that he’s commenting on the “wrong” prices, and I’m not interested enough to look at recent changes in wholesale prices… but I have noticed that when he’s trumpeting wins in prices, someone has shown him wholesale or similar price data.
Trump has built a Potemkin Village around himself in the WH who will only show him what he wants to see.
So no surprises they showed him non-retail prices.
I’ve vacillated between “he really is that stupid” and “he must be faking it as a power play”. After the MS13 tattoo exchange with Terry moron I’m firmly in the “yes, he is that stupid” camp. It’s pathetic and frightening that we willingly gave someone so disconnected from reality so much power.
Edit: so weird, I have the interviewer’s name typed in correctly but it comes out wrong.
Eggs by me are still roughly twice the price they reached under Biden.
The strange thing is, his supporters will give him credit for “telling it like it is”, “speaking the truth”.
It’s confounding.
