As crazy as it sounds, he does have the opportunity if things line up. See, he negotiated the peace deal with the Taliban and now he has the opportunity to end (at least) 2 more wars by negotiating peace in Ukraine and Palestine.

I have faith that he will be nominated, and that he will say that he will have the full force of the United States government to investigate the conspiracy that denies him his rightful prize.
I am not sure what he has said about the ME is a peace plan. I am also not sure Ukraine would agree to him to be the intermediary. He may be able to get the Russians to cooperate though.
Personally I prefer if he focuses more on domestic things.
Do the details matter? Wilson sent thousands of men to their deaths in Europe and heck he still won it. Kissinger won it. I figure Trump might win as long as those peace treaties get signed. Whether they are fair or even lead to lasting peace is secondary I think.

I’d say that this is a long-shot. There is a political element in this selection and this award is selected by a committee. It seems extremely unlikely that a committee would agree on a selection that is bound to be very unpopular with some members.
