Trump Arrest Watch

He is self employed so it would have been a financial hardship

Engoron had ordered Trump on Oct. 3 to delete his post on Truth Social circulating "untrue and personally identifying” information about his principal law clerk Allison Greenfield.

“I learned that the subject offending post was never removed from the donaldjtrump.com and in fact, has been on the website for the past 17 days,” New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron remarked from the bench, asking why Trump shouldn’t face “serious sanctions” for his “blatant violation of the gag order,” such as fines or “possibly imprisoning him.”

Trump’s attorney Christopher Kise described the development as an “inadvertent” result of the crossposting of his social media messages on his website.

Chesebro has taken a plea, so no October trial after all. Details of the plea aren’t out yet. The earlier plea that he rejected required that he plead guilty to one of the felony charges, which would result in automatic disbarment in most states. Don’t know if final deal kept that in or not, Powell only plead to misdemeanors.

Since inadvertent, I think one night in jail is a sufficient reaction and if someone inadvertently forgets to release him, so much the better

CNN reporting he plead guilty to 1 felony charge, 5 years probation, $5000 restitution, testify in future cases, apology.

During that time, the page had some 114 million total viewers, but only 3,701 unique views, Kise said.

I can’t help it. I see two numbers in one sentence and I have to do arithmetic.

114,000,000 / 3,701 = 30,800

So the average “unique” viewer visited the website more than 30,000 times in 17 days?

Web spiders and other bots?

Bots that summarize and share yhe information elsewhere.
Which is why this “unique views” metric is not as valid as it once was.

So Chico’s Bail Bonds, Kraken Karen, and Cheese-Bro have all struck plead deals in the Georgia case.

I heard a former US Atty point out that the first 2 got misdemeanors, and Chesebro a felony but no jail time. It is apparently pretty common in cases with a ton of defendants for the first couple of people who agree to testify to get a better deal than those farther down the line, kind of a live action multiplayer prisoner’s dilemma.

Looks like Trump was fined $5k and cautioned that harsher consequences could be imposed if the gag order in the civil trial is violated again.

I barely knew her. I think she was the coffee lady.

Jenna Ellis in her statement to the court said that she made the mistake of believing other Trump lawyers with much more experience were telling her the truth, and acknowledged that she should have checked their facts and failed to do her due diligence. So yeah, she’s going to testify against Giuliani.

This whole trump thing has been bad for years. And then it kept getting worse and worse.
Now it’s actually starting to get better! Things are starting to look fun and lol instead of depressing.

Trump’s team has requested a courtroom shutdown over COVID risks. How the turn tables.
