Trump Arrest Watch

Georgia is average height I think.

Maybe he moves taller, more average (5’9") people off the platform?

Also looks like the camera might be lower than the stage, so the perspective makes those in front seem taller..

But you agree he should serve time if found guilty of a crime that ordinarily comes with a prison sentence? No one should be above the law. I would readily accept it if my country’s leader went to prison for a crime he was fairly convicted of.

It seems outlandish at first thought but we’ve got a fairly small sample size and it has happened with other government officials. It’s not even uncommon. 4 of IL’s last 10 governors have served time.

A theory on Trump’s reported weight in Georgia (from QAnon Is Absolutely Melting Down Over Trump’s Mugshot and Return to Twitter )

They could have pulled that off with a more believable 251

I think Giuliani as penguin must have been the initial inspiration, and it probably all flowed from there

March 2024 it is for the Trump Trial date.

I was wondering, so others probably are as well

Current trial dates (all likely to slip due to pretrial motions and the need to deconflict):
4 March 2024 - Federal January 6th case (DC)
25 March 2024 - New York case
20 May 2024 - Federal documents case (Florida)
TBD - Georgia RICO case

For the Georgia trial - Chesebro’s trial date has been set for 23 October 2023, but that ruling doesn’t apply to the other 18 co-defendants. The DA had initially requested a trial date of 4 March.

Super Tuesday is 5 March, FWIW.

And now for $28 you can get an autographed poster-sized copy of the mugshot.

Sounds like the 2024 US Elections are very likely to be polarised and chaotic then as Trump 100% knows now that the only way out is via Presidential immunity.

What’s the deal on moving trial dates to accommodate defendants running in elections? That is, has this been done in the past for governors and members of Congress? Is this common?

A Presidential pardon or a President instructing an Attorney General to drop the case only gets him out of the two Federal cases.

For the state cases, you’d have to turn to state authorities…and in Georgia pardons can’t be granted until a minimum of five years after a conviction.

(I ought to check and see if bets are being taken on the Trump trials, and what odds they’re giving for mistrial results.)

Maybe he could run for President and Georgia governor at the same time.
