Good news everyone! We only have 1431 days until Trump is outta office and he won’t be coming back, unless he messes with the constitution.

While I do fear his dictatorial tendencies will continue into the next administration, I have some hope that his successor will deliver a not-so-secret speech to denounce him and return some checks and balances to the federal government.

Clearly these there are some flaws in our system that is meant to prevent the abuse of power so new laws need to be passed.

What do you envision?

I think the most likely outcome is the pendulum will swing pretty far “the other way” after the 2028 elections, setting the stage for more badness when the pendulum swings back in 2032 or 2036.

The good news is that a possible asteroid impact in 2032 might spare us that result.

I’ve said that I hope I live to see the day that Chinese communism falls. I guess that’s one way to accomplish that goal.
