Party of small government is investigating a private college b/c they don’t like the fact that said college thinks trans women are women.
MSM has noticed that the administration is working on restricting trans healthcare for adults.
This is the old “camel’s nose” approach.
Start with something that is somewhat politically popular and then start extending it.
Ugh. I just caught up on s year of this thread. Sooo depressing.
I want to correct one factual claim. It’s not “since farming” that humans have had issues with trans people, or whatever. This is a feature of Abrahamic cultures. There are lots of other cultures, most of which embraced farming, that routinely recognized various gender configurations other than “born with these bits, must fulfill this binary role”. Most of those were wiped out by Christian missionaries. But it’s not as if there’s some natural things that happens to people when they develop farming that pushes them towards a rigid gender binary.

Sadly some of the most depressing stuff isn’t even in this thread (e.g., the Idaho lawsuit that was dropped because the plaintiff killed herself, or the UK decision that neither trans women nor trans men are allowed to use the women’s bathroom)
They can just go to JK Rowland and use her bathroom. /red
Honestly the amount of time and resources that conservatives go through to deny people basic rights is absolutley bonkers.
