the doctor’s staff for friday called and said he is not a physiatrist.
now i need to call the one for monday to make sure he deals with this issue. if he doesn’t i might just give up and get the 2nd dose and hope for the best.

That’s annoying. It would have been nice if the person telling you to go see one of these doctors gave you some recommendations of people who actually deal with it!
the one I have scheduled for monday is in a physiatry clinic…so I’d hope this guy actually deals with this issue. I should probably call and make sure.
I saw this guy for my back once.
The person telling me to see one is a gynecologist. She might just not really know many physiatrists as that’s not something she likely has to deal with much.
Called the monday doctor to make sure. he’s the correct doctor. score!!!
only 3 appointments to find the correct type of doctor. good thing I saw this guy for my back once to even know he exists.
my tired disease might be back. at first i thought it was allergies, but i’m still exhausted and my allergies aren’t bothering me. also didn’t get enough sleep the last few days which is probably making it worse.
Bummer
finally did just get a referral from the gyn who got me the vaccine. the referral is for the same place that I figured out myself and have that monday appointment with already. was for that place, not a specific doctor, but seems the specific doctor i picked deals with this issue.
I’m looking at the after visit summary for when I got the first dose. It says I got it in my left deltoid. ummmm, it was my right, not left. ![]()
They’re already working on a cover up, I smell a lawsuit.
seems that this bout of tired disease was set off by extreme allergies. could just be a coincidence though as i didn’t have extreme allergies the other times i had the tired disease and since the weather has gotten colder, my allergies have tamed themselves. but the tired disease is still here.
wish i could get real answers on why this keeps happening to me.
I had ONE drink with dinner and it made the tired disease waaaaay worse. WTF IS THIS???
it’s been going on and off for over 19 months now with no answers.
Boo! That stinks; I’m sorry. I hope you get answers.
A few months ago I started getting a few “pimples”/hives around my butt/groin/legs. It was the “assne” I had previously.
Anyway it’s spread as far as my chest, ankles, back, arms, hands. And it’s itchy as fuck. But it can’t be “popped” despite sometimes looking like it. It’s just red hives.
Went to the dermatologist, got Prednisone (steroid), doxycycline (antibiotic?), and a steroid cream to grease my entire body 2-3x/day.
Weeks later, my stuff is tamed enough I can sleep, but is still present and itchy as fuck and also hurts.
Couple days ago, my partner noticed the same pattern beginning on their thighs and butt.
Getting them a dermatologist appointment (at a different place) and I’m going back.
Nothing environmental should be changing, except standard weather and the like. No new pets, plants, common foods, scents, travelling, clothes, detergent, makeup, soap, etc.
bed bugs?
My understanding is that bed bug bites tend to go right along a blood vessel… there will be rows that correspond to blood vessels.
I hope that’s not it. They are a PITA to get rid of, although having an answer is always good.
Scabies? You’d think a dermatologist couldn’t screw that up tho.
something communicable?
@tommie.frazier The dermatologist says it’s highly unlikely to be communicable. They ruled out a few things like viruses and… I don’t remember all they said, but it shook out to “almost certainly not transmissible.”
@ao_fan No to bedbugs. The bites don’t track and we are isolated enough, it would have had to be brought by one of a handful of people who I also wouldn’t expect to have bedbugs. No new furniture or clothes. Also, it happened to me for at least a couple months prior to my spouse as we slept in the same bed, spreading from a butt-based locus outward.
Tbh I’ve never had this nor been aware of someone who has. It does look like the milder cases of scabies I see online. It’s hard to determine if my location tracks given that the typical area appears to be “on the body”. This thing appears to be pretty much everywhere except my palms, soles of feet, neck, and face.
