No need. Gal who left and came back always keeps a bowl of individually wrapped wintergreen life savers at her desk. I just need to run over to her desk before the next meeting with that client and grab a couple.

Alas, that probably wonā€™t be for a while ā€¦ I have no professional reason to meet with him for another ~9 months unless he wants to make some sort of a change / requests a meeting sooner.

I did figure out that we have a mutual acquaintanceā€¦ saw that they are friends on Facebook. But this acquaintance is a HS classmate that I never really interact with so Iā€™m not sure how I can parlay that into a chance meetup or anything.

Oh, and this guy is back. I had mentioned that I volunteer with VITA and now all of a sudden he is interested in becoming a VITA volunteer.

I forwarded him the site coordinatorā€™s contact information and mentioned that there are other sites around the city, but thatā€™s the one where I volunteer. He told me what part of town he lives in which is not especially close so the site where I volunteer. So it will be slightly suspect if he shows up at my site; I know there are other locations closer to where he lives. I guess Iā€™ll find out come tax season. Maybe sooner as thereā€™s an optional training for volunteers that we could theoretically both attend.

I donā€™t go to the closest location to where I live; I go to my church. Butā€¦ itā€™s my church. I have connections there. Itā€™s not his church; heā€™s Roman Catholic and itā€™s a Presbyterian church.

Well he presumably has no more reason to contact me ā€¦ just a question of whether he shows up at the site come tax season.

If he just wants to volunteer I assume heā€™ll pick a location closer to where he lives.
