Starting to migrate all my empire back to my own hardware off the cloud. we are back in the very same spot the old forum was hosted, 151 front street toronto, same rack, just down about a foot. Top server is my AI stuff, bottom server will soon be this forum.

Reminds of the Doctor Who story Carnival of Monsters where they are miniaturized and stuck in a machine.
so reminder to self, don’t go to the data center when there’s a blue jays game. They let out at the same time as I wanted to leave. Turned an hour drive into a 2+ hour drive. Plus I got to chat to a cop who had some comments about how my pickup truck was stuck in the middle of an intersection for 3 light changes. I took the risk, and lost.
But at least the food trucks are out because of the game! So I can grab a hot… d’oh! Damn you cholesterol! I can’t even have a hot dog.
