The three dog cousins had a blast together. And some (but just a little since they were seasoned) meat made it to the dog bowls.

Everything on your counter looks good to me, especially since I am the lone carnivore in a vegetarian household. Maybe I will sneak off to your place for Thanksgiving next year if I get an invite!
We did get an invitation to my SIL’s feast in South Carolina this week but it conflicted with other commitments. She always has some good old southern pulled pork which I stretch out eating for as long as possible.

Thanksgiving 2024 will be with wife’s family (and therefore out of town generally), otherwise I’d say come on. Men’s group is doing a fund raiser smoke for Christmas, so probably 500 butts + 300 hams. I got the impression border control would stop me if I tried to bring some up

Ha, good point. There is a dog here @Echo 's size. “Josie” has had impeccable manners in the 3 months my sister has had her, but still a possibility.
Buffalo chicken dip, homemade hummus, and a variety of baked wings were added.
