The Spectacular 2024 Vinksin Vonksin GoActuary Wúnderbar NFL Full Season Pick’em Contest - now with extra cheesiness

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I have the same record as UA? yet I have one of the lowest % value? Lower even than most of those with fewer wins and more losses . . .

I feel I should go all Trump here and complain that the system is rigged against me!!

A lot of people are saying the system is rigged…a lot of people… :blah:

It’s not just wins & losses, though.

It’s the QUALITY of those wins & losses. Yours are obviously lacking in such quality.

Folks, let me tell you, and everybody knows this, the system—it’s the best system, believe me—but there was a tiny little error. Very small. The smallest error you’ve ever seen. And you know what? It wasn’t me, it wasn’t you—it was the intern! We’ve got great interns, some of the best interns, but this one… not so good. A lot of people are saying it. People are talking about it. But we caught it! And I’m telling you, nobody catches mistakes better than me. They’re fixed now, perfectly, beautifully, like nobody’s ever seen before. So, if your record was wrong, blame the intern—total disaster, probably used to work for Jables—but it’s all good now. Believe me.

You know, when we talk about the Change One Future Pick—the COFP—we’re talking about something much bigger than just a pick. It’s about foresight, it’s about strategy, and, ultimately, it’s about making decisions that reflect the values we hold dear. And let’s be clear, @UltimateAnyone, you used your two COFPs with precision, choosing not to stick with the status quo, but to elevate your choices. Moving from the Browns, a team struggling at 1-6, to the Ravens at 5-2—that is the kind of forward thinking we need.

And let’s not forget your shift from the Raiders to the Chiefs, undefeated at 6-0. It’s bold. It’s smart. It’s the kind of move that shows you understand the importance of adapting when the moment calls for it. And I want to recognize @IPD as well—because when you change your Browns pick to the Ravens, you’re aligning with something greater than just a record—you’re making a statement about possibility.

You see, that’s what the COFP is all about: understanding where we are, recognizing where we need to go, and having the courage to make that move. Because in the end, it’s not just about the wins and losses—it’s about having the vision to change course when the time is right.

And I believe in the power of that change.
