Ms. Waldo was an American violinist, composer, conductor and ethnomusicologist. She used pre-Columbian instruments in Western-style scores that sought to evoke the atmosphere of Latin America, fusing Indigenous and Western Sounds. No need to ask where’s Waldo as she died on March 16 at age 107.
