We’re going out to dinner for our anniversary. Should be a tasty final meal!
No trumpets blaring, or sky splitting apart here, but I did hear two vehicles hit the brakes to avoid a collision - but since it was 2 vehicles, both drivers are clearly there so I’m guessing that wasn’t a rapture sign.
for clarity - should I expect all of us to be taken, some, or what?
Interesting choice of words, as 9/23 is in the middle of Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), aka the “Feast of Trumpets.”

Trying to decide if I should get supper now or skip it. If I’m going up, then why eat? But if I’m not and others are, maybe get food while it’s still available?
Whoever forecasts this stuff really needs to do a better job of predicting. Picking a day is nice and all, but I’d like to be able to plan my day around a mass disappearance of holy people even if it’s just to take photos and mock all the True Believers who get left behind..

I said over 8 years ago that the Cubs winning the World Series would be a sign that the end times were upon us, and the next person elected President would likely be the antichrist foretold in Revelations.
I wonder if the 7-year countdown runs continuously. Maybe John forgot to mention whether there might be, say, a four-year hold part-way through the countdown?
I’m thinking we might be living in end times, with the antichrist and all that.

If he was a globally revered leader then I would be more afraid of that. He does fit many of the attributes, but his reach is not as wide as the biblical figure.
Is this on again this year? It’s our 20th anniversary and I’m hoping for something special.

The problem is he is surrounded by nutjobs who think it’s their job to fulfill prophecy. I would not take confort in “well he doesn’t PRECISELY match the details of this allegorical story.” There are people will make it fit even if they have to nuke Israel to do it.
