Pretty much what I’ve been doing. One nostril, then throat, then other nostril. I don’t have a problem with my own snot.

Yuck.
I probably wouldn’t have, I just noticed my nose felt perfectly fine while my throat was obvious full of icky.
Whelp, still firmly a member of this club. I finally got the test results from looking for exposure to covid, and I remain negative. That despite spending dozens of hours with my infectious mom as she died. I guess masks work.
(or the vaccine-induced immunity kicked in so fast and mopped up the virus so quickly that my immune system never noticed the nucleocapsid. But more likely the masks.)

Still here, too, afaik. My kid got sick a few days ago, but tested negative and was better after about a day.
I had a dream the other night that I tested positive for COVID. That’s the closest I got to getting COVID.

Still hanging in here too. My kids are still wearing masks at school but they are dropping the requirement next week. Fingers crossed those rugrats don’t kill me.

My son is coming of age, and is no longer a covid virgin. I have a sore throat (which was his first symptom), so assume I am getting kicked out of the club soon too (although I did have neg at home test).
You know you’ll never get kicked out of the club if you never test and never see a medical professional about “symptoms” . . .
I have a brother in law who thinks like that. He said he would never get tested because it would just restrict things he could do.
NYC has just been downgraded to level green alert. COVID is over you guys. WE DID IT! VIRGINS FOR LIFE!

maybe, but not sure your natural antibodies will protect you that much if the deadlier version has mutated enough. for now, COVID IS OVER YOU GUYS!
The sweet natural antibodies didn’t work any better than the safely-acquired vaccine-induced antibodies against omicron. (Both mostly kept people alive and out of the hospital, and neither prevented them from getting sick or spreading the disease.) Why do you think they will work better against some hypothetical future variant?
