Team coordination software

Most of the implementations I’ve seen of SharePoint are miserable.

I have a small business license for Microsoft 365 (or whatever Office is called this week) for my family. It comes with a Microsoft-hosted/maintained instance of SharePoint. I’ve played with it, and I suspect that someone familiar with the tool, building something from scratch on a recent version of SharePoint with no need to preserve prior crap could put something useful together…if the users are also sufficiently proficient with SharePoint.

Such limitations and caveats are probably why Microsoft seems to be pushing corporate use of OneDrive rather than SharePoint these days.

Right, but we don’t have many files. It’s only really stuff we need to share widely.

We are all in the office. Our team coordination consists of someone shouting: “Hey, Linda, c’mere a minute, will ya? What the hell does this mean…?”
