Rules goes into effect 1/1/2022

My thought is the IDR costs will outweigh any savings. Similar to a pre-authorization process that just pisses off docs and annoys the consumer.

I get something has to be done about these. Most of the time these probably come from a provider that the facility hires outside of their tax ID (like anesthesiologists and pathologists who don’t contract with anyone).

IDR?

independent dispute resolution Basically the arbitration between the provider and the payer. I have an LLC that I could apply to be one, but I don’t have the $ to buy the data
