You would think it’s obvious, but when I post a link to something behind a paywall that is easily circumvented there are often complaints here.

Snippet from the article below. Yeah, we would have to completely dismantle this plane to ensure it isn’t bugged or somehow altered in a way that could cause a failure. And then put it back together, while adding all of the various systems for security and all that. It would be cheaper and easier to just have the govt go to the Boeing factory and build one, and skip the disassembly step.

Agree.
I am much more flexible with work vs chores, since i can work literally any time ever.
The added benefit of not needing to shower (I shower when it is convenient for me) and gussying up for the x-mile trip daily for a specific arrival time is awesome.
My weekends are also more free since i can chore when convenient any time versus the weekend.
