STAM and LTAM in One Sitting

From the exam schedules (Exam Schedules | SOA), it’s possible to take STAM and LTAM in October.

Is it too much of a risk to take these exams in one sitting? Has anyone ever tried this and passed on their first attempt?

Doing two exams in one sitting is a recipe for failure for most people, even those capable of passing exams. The workload is almost insurmountable except in rare situations.

But STAM and LTAM, you’re talking about combining the two most difficult and lengthy prelim exams in one sitting? Guaranteed fail on both. Passing even one of those two exams is a decent accomplishment and takes max. effort.
