Anyone playing this one? I gave up 'dle’s a long time ago, but this is not a wordle variant. It seems impossible in the middle, but they give you more information as you get more answers and I always manage to finish each puzzle.
I sometimes play a version of this. The version I play has about 20-24 words. They tell you how many of each length as well and you earn hints with the more words you solve.
too many words
That sounds about the same. Once you get some of the words you can get more information, like how many words start with each letter, and then how many words contain each letter. And after even more words found (or after a certain time of the day) you can see how many there are of each letter and the letter they start with (or more for longer words).
It feels that way at first. And keep in mind the days get harder, so Friday is a longer version. But as you find words it can start to get easier. And if you use the word list and hints, it becomes much easier.

My first impression was the same. Also a Friday. And it is on the long side for my daily games, which I prefer to take less than a minute or two per game. For me, I like it enough that I play it each day, but definitely understand if not.

Agreed that would prefer a shorter game, but fine to have as a background thing to return to. Middle was a bit frustrating (as warned!), but did like how it wrapped up. All in all not bad (except for the length) - we’ll see how frequently it fits in the rotation.

I play on my phone. You can click on the word count (e.g., 23/49) and it will show you the list you’re talking about. Or turn the screen horizontal. Neither are ideal, but that list is really helpful.

I don’t love the ranks. You can switch to speed or maybe one other, but it also doesn’t show you your speed, I don’t think. But you can add friends and then see the friend ranks by each metric.

Agreed. Definitely not a wordle variant. If it was, I wouldn’t have played it. Likely just trying to piggyback off the popularity of the “dle”.
