I have every word that doesn’t start with B and still not genius.
QB this morning. Got genius before pulling out grid, no clues.
I get tempted sometimes but I only use clues/grid after getting genius. The shorter lists are usually easier to get.

Short a couple of C words yesterday, but got QB pretty quickly today.

That’s how I do it too. Right now I need 2 more words for QB, so far that’s the only thing I’ve looked up in the hints.

Found QB yesterday with the hints, two I should have had as one was past tense of a word I had already guessed and the other is a common SB word.
Need 1 for QB today.
