looking at solution 1 on the exam report, how is the count triangle information useful here please? it can be seen that the reporting pattern is stable, but what does this tell us to help solve the problem?
Solution 1 just uses development technique to calculate ultimates so claim count wasn’t needed.
An alternative way to calculate ultimate was to use the frequency severity method where you could use claim count (which is how Solution 2 did it)
