Shortages and stuff

Near Red Bank, NJ.

C’mon over.

It took me 40 minutes to get bacon and eggs at my usual joint last weekend

the stand for the music being high is annoying me. Yet, I was googling and saw people saying that this specific model is great for their 6 year old. 6 year olds must be shorter than me, so I’m not sure why having to look up a tiny bit at the music is really bothering me.

Also, digital pianos have heavier keys than regular pianos and apparently this model has even a little bit heavier than other models in being more high end. Had I known that I might have bought a cheaper one just based on this. Makes fast songs harder to play for me with my weak puny hands crapping out in the middle.

Trying to decide if I should exchange it. I’m hoping to just get used to it. The sound is great. Just wish the stand for the music was lower. It having a larger case actually makes it prettier than the cheaper models.

Took two hours for my bacon to get delivered this morning and it was also undercooked

I heard the high end clavinovas had heavier actions

You might have to change your playing style to incorporate more gravity or else you could get injured imo

i already got injured on my old lower end clavinova. i was shocked to learn it was a piano injury, and not that i suddenly had arthritis in my hand. it eventually got better, but it took a while.

You got cooked bacon delivered??? Huh? Whaaaaa? :man_shrugging:

I mean, I’ve picked up a takeout sandwich. I assume you could get a BLT delivered.

Sure, but if you were getting a BLT delivered and it took two hours and you were going to vent about it… you’d probably say “took two hours for my BLT to get delivered”, not “took two hours for my bacon to get delivered”.

Of course if you ordered a BLT and received an LT… then I guess you might. But you’d probably include the additional info. At that point I’d want a whole new sandwich… not just to add the bacon to the now-stale bread from the original sandwich.

I usually argue for delivery when I’m too lazy to cook. In 2 hours I could go to the store, buy the ingredients, and cook almost anything, so delivery in that case isn’t something I’d do.

Throw some meatloaf on that bacon order. Nom-nom-nom

What’s the return policy?

i think 30 days, but since i feel terrible and likely am going to escape to my parents house for the foreseeable future, i’ll probably just keep it by default rather than deal with it.

Still no Corona or frozen corn at Costco.

Hubby was just asking for Corona at Costco and… no can do.

We have a 60% full bag of frozen corn though, so we’re good for a while.

:chicken: ??? Asking for a friend.

Plenty of chicken where I live.

You may not be able to get your Filet-o-Fish for Lent this year if the US customs has their way.

BTW, is this sentence written correctly?

Many Christians substitute red meat for fish during Lent, and pollock is in higher demand during that part of the year.

I think they meant to say “…red meat with fish…” [or] “…fish for red meat…”
