Seahawks Are Still For Real This Time

Fun game!
As predicted, plenty of third downs converted by the SEA Defense. Probably a stat on that.

ETA: Yup, 30th in the league. Ahead of ARI and,… … … PHI!

SEA last in opponent time of possession.
So, its offense is always fresh!!

Nice to be on the right side of one of these, though i think the Eagle’s “win probability” was a bit overstated for most of the game:

That was an awesome game! Missed the first quarter, although I caught part of it on the radio.

Go Seahawks!!!

Nice job by the Hawks there.

That helps the whole NFC West. 49ers get a game up on the Eagles to go with the tiebreaker. Helps with Strength tiebreakers for everyone in division.

Well, except for those poor Cardinals… :sob:

Unfortunately the Hawks lose the tiebreaker with the Rams and their playoff status may be decided by that. Hawks need to win at least two of their three remaining games. Wonder who will start at QB next week if Gino is healthy…

Geno

Rams have 2 tough games although Niners might not have anything to play for week 18. Saints will be giving all. Vikes have 3 tough games. Take care of biz we are in. That kick against Rams still costly.

They can take Week 18 off all they want. They need to play to win in Week 17.

(I have McC in FF for potential finals weekend. Why you ask?)

So are you saying Geno will start or correcting my spelling or both of the preceding?

I, like most of you, thought that flexing that game to MNF was idiotic with how bad the Seahawks had been playing.
Turns out the decision makers actually did a good job of finding a game that people wanted to watch

The Eagles at @Seahawks delivered an audience of more than 19.4 million viewers, becoming the most-watched Week 15 MNF game in the ESPN era (2006 – present). The game ranks as MNF’s fourth most-watched game of the season and ESPN’s seventh most-watched game since 2006. #GoHawks

Must have been a lot of FF players on lots of FF teams.
I was going to rewatch the Manning Bros broadcast, but that would mean watching for 3.5 hours just to listen to those guys. That’s a lot of all that. And what little I saw, they really are biased toward offensive sides. Need to add Bosa’s or Watts brothers to balance it all out.

I was also surprised at the good ratings but the Eagles do have a very strong national following. I encounter Eagles’ fans widely, even in Canada.

Cowboys also have a strong national following but that consists of both their fans and people hoping they lose.

I was answering the question. Lock had a nice drive. Geno is the starter.

Alright, got the SEA game this week!
Still hoping for final weekend move to Saturday.

Say, when was that PHI game flexed to MNF?
My initial work on how many games I’d get to see (without paying for Ticket) didn’t have that game on MNF.

If I’m reading things right, that game will be broadcast on “over-the-air” TV (ABC). So shouldn’t have to get Ticket to watch it.

You’re not.
This game was not originally scheduled on MNF, so I had it as a 0% chance of my getting to watch it when it was on Sunday and the DAL-BUF “National Game of the Week” being shown on Fox at the same time.
When it got moved, 100% chance, and I did watch it.
So, I was asking WHEN, between when the schedules were first released and last Monday it got flexed to MNF. I believe this is the first season that they decided to have this option. And I think it has to be some amount of time before the game, as this is a major disruption in traveling for the visiting team (and any visiting fans) and such.

Anywho, Google is my friend:

Why did the NFL move Eagles-Seahawks to ‘Monday Night Football’?)%20and%20the%20Bills.

Sorry . . .

I imagine that was announced about 3 or 4 weeks ago?

I know that Denver had their game with DET flexed to the SAT time slot; that being about 3 weeks ago?

I imagine that your game was announced around the same time.

ETA: yep!
NFL announces first ever Monday night flex, Eagles-Seahawks in Week 15 moved (yahoo.com)

DEN’s flexed game was announced on 11/30, too.

That’s what it seems like.
Then, SEA went on a four-game losing streak and suddenly, uh-oh bad idea.

12 days is the minimum notice time, but it appears to have been three or four weeks.

The two 1/6 games and 1/7 SNF game still yet to be determined. Doing some math here… that’s only 16 days away. Probably as soon after 12/25 as possible.
