Dallas was on, cuz National Game Of The Week, and all must abide, except in SEA and DC areas, must abide. (SEA Area was pretty huge, though: All of OR, and most of ID, and some CA, MT, and WY.)
Plus Western Canada. All the Seahawks games are televised in Vancouver on both a Canadian and a US network.
Big game against Rams next week. Still hoping that Week 1 win by Rams was a fluke.
I’ll get that one.
Yeah, not quite sure how Dallas vs Syracuse got picked for game of the week
It’s Dallas a lot.
Weeks 2, 4, 9, 10 15, 16.
Other weeks:
Week 1: SNF
Week 3: CHI at KC was GOTW (!!)
Week 5: SNF
Week 6: MNF
Week 7: Bye
Week 8: rare morning game vs LAR, which played here; CIN at SF was GOTW.
Week 11: rare morning game at CAR; NYJ at BUF is GOTW
Week 12: TNF
Week 13: TNF
Week 14: SNF
Week 17: Saturday NF.
So, only four weekends that DAL is not shown as a National Game Of The Week nor on one of the exclusive time slots (SNF, TNF, MNF, rare Saturday). And one of those is their Bye Week!
So, yeah, DAL is on a lot this year for you if your local team is not playing opposite them.
And, do note that it is what “the people want,” according to the networks. They want to root for them, or more popularly, root against them.
Been safely ignoring them since 1997!

“'Murica’s Team”
I also choose not to watch, but I do it to save time for more important things. My current project is sorting through / tossing seven shoeboxes full of photos from the past 60 years, so I can have a proper guest bedroom. Was overwhelmed looking through them for the first time, but cut them down about 10%.
I rage watched the entire thing.
Just have not been on here much.
It was a frustrating game, full of boneheaded mistakes on offense & defense.
Exciting end, and a win is a win.
Not really certain how many wins the hawks have left on their schedule.
Best case scenario looks like 4-4 to end the season
Buy could easily be 2-6.
10-7 should allow them to slip into a wildcard game and lose.
Before the season started I would be happy with a 10-7 record and a WC spot. I viewed this as a transition year.
I expect them to be a serious contender next year when their young guys will have had another year of experience.
Small blond girl stares at screen of static.
“The 49ers are coming.”
In the distance a crow calls “Nevermore.”
Oh, my YouTubeTV added the (almost) whole replay to my library! I guess it was shown sometime Monday or Tuesday on NFLN. Watched. Good ending, shitty from about 0:00 to about 59:59.
The ejection resulted in a good 15 seconds of absolutely no sound from the announcers. I thought there was an audio issue.
More ejections, thus, are necessary.
Impressive start by the Hawks. Hope Walker is ok.
Hell of an opening drive by the offense.
And the defense could not have done much better on that first series.
Only incompletion was the catch that was subsequently ruled out of bounds. But even that throw and catch was impressive.
The defensive pass interference calls almost really hurt the Hawks on that drive.
Much better 3rd series by the Hawks defenses.
Would have liked a TD there after 1st & goal
But, really can’t complain avout that intentional grounding by Geno, he had no other other option.
Fourth series not as good.
