Melanie Safka has died
My favorite was âLay Down (candles in the rain)â, but i looked a lot of her songs. She was only 76, and the article says no cause of death was given.

Yeah, I think Lay Down (Candles In The Rain) is awesome. Itâs on my ipod and whenever it comes up I end up listening to it again 3 or 4 times. I donât think sheâs got a particularly good voice, but she sure knows how to use it effectively. RIP

He was slated to be in a Super Bowl commercial this year.

Massive talent. Was sorry when he left the Toronto Symphony for the US as he was an incredible conductor and personality. His recent conversations with Murakami were awesome.
