I may not have agreed with her on a number of topics but she was a good Senator. She was an honest advocate for her constituents, willing to work in a bi-partisan fashion, and rarely made perfect the enemy of good. We need more people like her in Congress, willing to try to make the government work and recognizing that means compromise.
