TIL what girl math is, maybe.
A relative of mine taught college math for the football team and yeah, she really should have gone with maths like an athlete
Look, all I know is he doesn’t math like a mathlete.
“girl math” used by a woman: “It’s triple points day at Starbucks, and I’m almost up to a free drink, so basically me getting a drink today is free! Girl math.”
“girl math” used by a man: Almost invariably sexist
Karoline Leavitt replying to US consumer sentiment dropping 11% to 50.8 this month:
“There is great optimism in this economy,” Leavitt claimed at the White House briefing when asked about the survey. “Trust in President Trump. He knows what he’s doing. This is a proven economic formula.”
If it were proven, why haven’t we been doing it before?
Propagandists like her will never tell the truth.
She will keep singing Trump praises right up till the US economy crashes.
And then, she wiil spin it as this was the plan all along
People are now finally understanding how propaganda in the 1930s worked in Europe.

Republican action rather Republican statement, but this seems like the most appropriate place.
A bunch of old men voting to look at a bunch of kids’ private parts.
That’s a good look for the GOP.

She may not have said more than the last thing, but describing it as her message is accurate.
Of course fascism is built on double-speak and disingenuity, but it’s interesting how this strongman administration is arguing that we’re powerless in the face of mighty, superior El Salvador.
Trump administration saying they have no authority now that he is in Salvadorian custody. Bukele saying that he is powerless, and cannot send a terrorist to the US . Things do no look promising for the prisoner…
It’s almost like paying to send people to a foreign prison over which you have no control, especially with lack of due process, is a bad idea or something.
So we a) can’t get someone back who was improperly sent there, and b) have a President who is now saying in interviews that he wants to send US citizens to El Salvador. That’s an awesome combination.
The big question is: how close, in degrees of separation, does one have to be to a ICE-hole or even a local cop, either of whom are tRump-leaning, to say something critical and have that land one in El Salvador?
Asking for a friend.
Fortunately, I’m white and went to Harva … oh crap.
I really, really don’t want to give the administration the benefit of the doubt on this one but… while I suspect the administration is just trying to find ways/excuses to say “we don’ wanna do dis” without blatantly defying court orders… even if they were to try in good faith to carry out the court order, would El Salvador permit one of its citizens to be taken back to the United States?
As much as this rendition should not have occurred, it’s not entirely inconceivable to me that the US might not be able to get him back.
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to objectively assess whether that’s the case, given that I give the administration’s statements on the matter zero credibility.
The administration clearly doesn’t want to, and i bet bukeke got a bonus for saying “¡imposible!”. While it is Garcia who bears the brunt of the mistake, perhaps it can be a “if the govt can’t fix it, no more deportation without due process” decision. From a non-expert perspective, if the 5th doesn’t prohibit certain executive actions, it is the end of limited government.
