The Little Apple!

I am sure she said something nuts to go with her outfit.

You know white people have the lowest birth rate of the major races in the US right? Or was that supposed to be red font? I’d imagine, though that if you looked at marital status birth rates white people might move up some.

But like @DTNF said, Utah should see a bump in funding, Idaho might as well.

Marriage rates among white people is higher than Hispanic or Black people, and birth rates for straight people are higher than for gay people. The way the memo is written gives the Department wide discretion how they want to prioritize marriages and childbirth and will allow them to create policies that disparately but not explicitly benefit whites and straight people.

Furthermore, Idaho is currently petitioning SCOTUS to overturn Obergefell and make gay marriage illegal again, so the focus on marriage immediately will move federal money away from blue areas (with more Black and Hispanic people) but also is forward-looking in how it works in tandem with other Project 2025 goals (erasing LGBTQ people).

Looking forward, with MAGA’s goal to deregulate health insurance allowing people to be kicked off for pre-existing conditions, etc., I see how this further will put more federal money into areas that have better healthcare due to having more money, as the disproportionately rich and disproportionately white people who have better (or any) healthcare have lower birth mortality.

I don’t think Trump realizes that with annual rainfall of 1.4 inches, golf courses won’t be feasible.

No, there is a big valve he will turn on in California to provide water. Maybe it’s in Cairo or Aleppo, you get the idea.

The man has a Sharpie that can control the weather. This is a not a concern to him.

Plenty of water in the Jordan River. Not like that’s needed for anything else.

Conan O’ Brien already pitched a similar idea for the old city of Jerusalem:

This was in 2017

I think this is accurate. I have to believe that Trump’s idea for Gaza is a string of luxury resorts.

Yeah, I don’t see golf courses.

This can be yours for $47.59:

Should’ve made it $45.47 (not that I’d buy one at any price).

That appears to be real silver, not a nickel alloy, so today’s melt value is 32.74.

Well, it claims to be real silver, at least.

I’d say the MAGA Politico rantings qualify:

I still have a bunch of 1964 Kennedy half dollars. They cost me 50 cents each……

US or Canadian?

US, of course. Happened to be visiting US relatives when the coins first started circulating.

The 64s have 1/3 ounce of silver each. 65+ are nickel.

Random silver coins seemed to come through somewhat regularly at my high school job. They always made a very distinct clink going in to the cash register. I’d always swap them out when I came across them.

Even had a few customers pay with silver certificates or the red seal 5s. I was thinking where the F did you come up with that from?

None of them were particularly valuable (maybe 2x face) but these things do find their way back into circulation occasionally.
