Do you think Trump cut a deal so he gets a skim off the top? That would be on brand.
only if it isn’t what you and I might think is “a skim”. more like 50%-75% I’d believe for “a loser” like paxton
From the article:
“Drew Sexton, her campaign manager, told The Post that the congresswoman denied vaping but did use her phone to take pictures of the performance.”
Let’s go to the tape:
Also note her date gropes her in the theater. Truly, a world-class grandmother right there.
But it’s okay if girls follow her example, because rural conservative girls are special for tending to choose life if they get pregnant. #notmyrolemodel #doesntspeakfornormalconservatives #weirdflexbutokay
I think this is actually going to be his defense. He can’t say that he didn’t have the documents. His only hope is that he wasn’t breaking the law when he had them. Get one jury member to agree.
I think some judges would prevent the lawyers from arguing that because juries are not there to decide issues of law, just issues of fact. But, IANAL
If only she knew about Texas v. White (1868).
Ah, who the hell am I kidding. I’m not sure 5% of Republicans could recite the 7 words that come after “We The People.”
Are going to make the libs cry?
But I think’s actually 8 words you’re thinking of.
Yeah, it is 8 words. I was actuarializing and just doing an estimate.
7 out of 8 ain’t bad.
I was under the impression Republicans preferred 14 word phrases
The irony is that if she hadn’t denied it, the tape wouldn’t have been released and we wouldn’t know about the mutual groping (she grabs him too). But we would know that he owns a bar that hosted a burlesque and drag show back in January. Nothing wrong with that, but arguably a problem if you are also dating her.
88 of them do for sure
The 2012 Republican presidential nominee has considered leaving the party, and is paying $5,000 / day for private security to protect him from MAGA.
Romney considered for years leaving the Republican Party — all five of his sons had — and “almost went through” with a third-party presidential run, Coppins wrote, but opted not to after concluding he would hurt President Joe Biden, who he was not a fan of, more than Trump in 2024. He had no misconceptions he would win. All he wanted to do was stop a second Trump term and lay out his vision for the country “without regard for the political consequences.”
As a critic of Trump’s, King was concerned for Romney’s safety. More than two years later, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee is still paying $5,000 a day for private security to protect his family from the supporters of his party’s presidential nominee in the next two cycles, according to the book excerpt.
What is up with Republicans and lying about being Jewish?
Not only is Luna almost certainly not Jewish, but also according to several family members, reports the Washington Post, Luna’s paternal grandfather Heinrich Mayerhofer, who died in 2003, served in the armed forces of Nazi Germany when he was a teenager in the 1940s.
“I was raised as a Messianic Jew by my father,” Luna had told the Jewish Insider, clarifying that she identifies as a Christian. “I am also a small fraction Ashkenazi.”
The Insider had interviewed Luna in reaction to the fact that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, known for her “Jewish space laser” conspiracy, had endorsed Luna’s candidacy for Congress. “If she were antisemitic,” asked Luna after claiming Ashkenazi roots, “why did she endorse me?”
It’s not a good sign when someone’s proof that they aren’t antisemitic is that the have a Jewish friend, and their Jewish friend is a) Christian and b) the granddaughter of a Nazi.
”Of the United States, in order to form” is the 8 words you were thinking of?
Jews for Jesus are not Jewish
Messianic Jews are Christian, but they have Jewish ancestry. And she claimed that her father was a Messianic Jew.
Now I hate to assume that the Nazis were accurate about these things, because… Nazis. But if her father’s father was a Nazi, that makes it extremely unlikely that he was Jewish himself or had Jewish ancestry. The Nazis didn’t appear to care about a person’s actual faith, only their ancestry. (One of the people in hiding with Anne Frank’s family was a Messianic Jew: that is to say a Christian who believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and celebrated Christmas, etc. But had Jewish ancestry and was thus classified as Jewish.)
That leaves the possibility that her paternal grandmother was Jewish, at least by ancestry if not by faith. Meaning that her Nazi paternal grandfather married a woman of Jewish ancestry.
Possible, but … also unlikely.

Former President Donald Trump on Friday suggested that people need identification to purchase groceries, repeating a wild claim he’s pushed in the past.
“You have voter ID to buy a loaf of bread. You have ID to buy a loaf of bread,” he said at a summit of the Concerned Women for America, a conservative group, in Washington, D.C.
lol, I don’t even bring my wallet to the grocery store sometimes these days b/c all the ones I go to take apple pay.
