A top witness in a Republican investigation into the Biden family has apparently up and disappeared without a trace—or at least that’s what Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said Sunday on Fox News.

On Wednesday, Comer—the chairman of the House Oversight Committee—held a much-hyped press conference in which he promised to expose the preliminary findings of four months’ worth of scrutiny into the Biden family’s business dealings. Publicized as a “judgment day” for President Joe Biden, the conference ultimately proved anticlimactic, largely consisting of Comer throwing around vague, unsubstantiated accusations and failing to link the president to any of his relatives’ alleged “influence peddling.”

But on Fox’s Sunday Morning Futures, Comer offered up what appeared to be a partial excuse: The probe’s primary informant had flown the coop.

“Well, unfortunately, we can’t track down the informant,” the Kentucky representative told host Maria Bartiromo. “We’re hopeful that the informant is still there. The whistleblower knows the informant. The whistleblower is very credible.”

A credulous Bartiromo interrupted. “Hold on a second, Congressman. Did you just say that the whistleblower or the informant is now missing?”

“Well, we’re hopeful that we can find the informant,” Comer said. “Remember, these informants are kind of in the spy business, so they don’t make a habit of being seen a lot or being high-profile or anything like that.”

I just read some of the details in the Rudy Giuliani sexual assault / harassment / wage theft law suit, and wow. Do not google it, it is crazy disturbing.

Some of the safer details: she has recordings of his sexist, racists, and anti-semitic remarks, and says that he was trying to sell pardons for $2 million, with the intention of splitting the money with Trump. Not clear if he found any buyers.

During an appearance on Newsmax, Lara Trump ― wife of Eric Trump ― crowed about special prosecutor John Durham’s report criticizing the FBI’s handling of the Russia investigation.

“How many times has what he said actually come true? Pretty much everything he ever talked about — and, by the way, he was mocked for saying — have all come true,” she said.

Well there was that time he sent tear gas on folks to get a photo op at a church. does that count?

I was curious so looked it up. He went to church on Christmas Eve and Easter about 7 times (I believe 6 times next door to Mar-A-Lago and the 1 time not due to government shutdown), and additionally held a number of rallys and photo ops where he did not worship, or had a priest pray over him and then left, or tear-gassed protesters for another photo op, or used a shrine as a political prop so blatantly he was condemned by an Archbishop. He also refused to speak the Apostle’s Creed, but it’s not clear if that was intentional or he didn’t know it and couldn’t read the bigly words.
