I’m outside the US on sabbatical from work now… thanks to my job at my previous company I grew sick enough in more ways than one. But I’m not ready to jump back into full-time just yet, so I’m in this an odd flux state since there’s quite a bit of experience under the belt (even though I’m not fully qualified yet) but I want to see if I can dip my toes back in slightly, while still working on the side projects I’ve had on mind for a loooong time.
Ever since starting the break, I got these LinkedIn ads from this AI company - Mercor I think - but that seems like some standard data annotation work. Is this the only ‘in’, internationally, for someone with my profile? Right now I’m willing to put in say 10ish hours a week, and don’t know if this is supposed to be the only thing that scratches that itch (I kinda hope not).
