I mean, itâs a bit of a forgone conclusion that when one party wins the presidential election, the opposing party wins congress in the mid-terms.
Assuming there will be mid-term elections.
Itâs interesting that as MAGA as our small town is, somehow our mayor is a Democrat (who won re-election last year). I guess the distinction between R and D doesnât mean as much at the ultra-local level.
Maybe this should be Democrats do the darndest things. I hope a flat out nicotine ban would fail as prohibition never works but reasonable sin taxes seem effective in curbing use without generating a violent black market.
Generate business for the new pot industry by making the competition illegal for a while?
