Considering how that particular cartoonist depicts Dear Leader (always featuring a sippy cup and a fly swarm), I don’t think they’re afraid to depict him.
I don’t recall them having recently depicted Thomas and Alito, but I assume given some of the recent SCOTUS shadow docket orders/rulings, the cartoonist thought it was time.
