Of the people who have most damaged the country up to now, McConnell has to be at least top 5.
He’ll likely be eclipsed soon, but he opened the gate for what comes next.

That seems fair. He probably didn’t mean for things to get this bad, but he paved the way for it to happen.
He probably thought he had good intentions, but we know what the road to hell is paved with…

He’s a major reason that the country is messed up…but he is the only Republican to have voted against some of Trump’s worst nominations.
Maybe “slightly unfair” isn’t the correct phrase…but the meme doesn’t quite fit, despite it amusing me.
