Yeah, unfortunately on both sides. Jan 6th, #not_my_president, #join_the_resistance.
Somewhat differentiating though - while some Democrats called Trump an “illegitimate president” (like Hillary Clinton, holy shit just stop saying dumb things), I’d say every Democrat I actually know accepts and would verbalize that Trump won his election, even if the Comey investigation timing may have tipped it and even though Russia definitely attempted to interfere.
For most people, #NotMyPresident doesn’t literally mean “I believe he committed election fraud and should be jailed for it”.
Meanwhile nearly 70% of Republicans think Biden is an illegitimate President: https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/03/politics/cnn-poll-republicans-think-2020-election-illegitimate/index.html
The #JoinThe Resistance was worse. Because a number of loyal Dems in the Federal Government intentionally obstructed the implementation of policy changes. And there sat the talking heads at MSNBC and even some elected Dems encouraging this behavior.
That is legitimately interfering with government functions. i.e. criminal behavior. Hillary still refers to Trump as an “illegitimate” president.
We need to get back to partisans accepting a loss and making plans to win the next election. Not this mess of divided camps that call each other evil that must be stopped for the good of the world. Maybe even, gasp, working with each other to govern.
Jimmy Carter famous counter-example.
I enjoy comics that can make everybody mad.
This could be about Trump being convicted, or Texas wanting to execute abortive healthcare patients, or any number of things.
Or Biden having Trump arrested and he’s never seen again. No trial, no jury, just taken out and executed…

Yeah, this is a “pick your poison” comic
