Ds want to use government to protect this for all that are here and give everyone who is not here the same opportunity, because America is a great place. Rs want minimize government as those things will better manifest themselves the closer we get to government not existing, because America is a great place.
It’s probably a coin flip on how you read that and politics is just an exercise of forming coalitions from popular trends that get you over 50%.
