Parent's Music

. . . . and they are from the 70’s . . .

The “Abba tars” are an interesting concept. I wonder how their fans will like it.

Neither of my parents listened to music much, which is kind of funny because my brother and I were always listening to music.

My dad had a bunch of classical albums, plus some musicals, but listened to them pretty rarely. I think I (eventually) listened to them more than he did. He also played one song on the piano, basically to be humorous. I have no idea if he could play any others.

My mom only ever bought one album that I am aware of - Nat King Cole’s Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer - and rarely listened to it.

There were a couple other albums that I’m not sure whose they were - Roger Miller’s Greatest Hits and Eddy Arnold’s Greatest Hits. I don’t recall either ever playing them and I wouldn’t have thought either would be their style.

My parents didn’t listen to too much either. Mostly 50’s pop. And polka. Lots of polka when they did listen to tunes.
