It does. I didn’t even want to taste it when my wife said it was good. I was wrong.
Sounds like spousal abuse.
I mentioned the bisque.
Depends on her age, might be vaccine au naturale
Relative is positive. I’m still waiting.
My 12-yo got her Pfizer booster yesterday. Pretty long line at a vaccination event at one of the local elementary schools. They were also giving flu shots but we did those a while ago.
Just parking this here to show how great it’s going in assorted healthcare systems across the country. It’s fine, easily and effectively handling everything, no problems at all…

Yes they are (fuel for the fire):
" Hospitals across the state are now operating under a CDC contingency plan on how and when to bring doctors and nurses back to work after they test positive for COVID-19.
Conventional protocols — especially in a clinical setting — prohibit people from working while they’re sick. The rapid spread of omicron is changing that approach."
I guess this is a bad time to go to the hospital for anything other than covid…
Developed a sore throat and fever yesterday. Actually feels like strep, but I don’t want that either…
And given that omicron being described as “a mild illness” = “not sick enough to be hospitalized”…
Whatever could go wrong with sick people working 12 hour shifts of physical labor around vulnerable patients?
Hope you can access a doc in the box as COVID and strep can present similarly.
So my test came back negative last night, but apparently I tested too soon after exposure. You’re supposed to wait until either 5 days after exposure or until you develop symptoms.
I tested 1 day after exposure and before I developed symptoms.
So back I go to get tested again, I guess. I would’ve thunk that if I was merely presymptomatic it would’ve shown. Who knows. Maybe I’m a hypochondriac and all my symptoms are psychosomatic.
Do you not have a binax now test laying around? If you want to know that seems like the fastest way.
Has it been 5 days now?
Omicron is supposed to infect faster than prior COVIDs. So, in theory, it should be detectible by tests earlier.
My sister never even got a pcr test with her bout with covid. Found it on an over the counter test. Then tested a few days later and it was still positive and a few days after that and was negative. Pcr tests take too long.
Right, but Delta hasn’t gone away yet…
It pretty much has. 95% of the cases in the US were believed to be omicron last week.
Omicron is a lot more infectious, and if you have any prior exposure to covid (prior infection, a single dose of vaccine) omicron generally gives you a good boost of immunity against other strains. So it’s outcompeting Delta.
Well, guess it’s time to quarantine…
