The Office of the Insurance Commissioner’s (OIC) P&C Actuarial Services Unit is seeking a motivated and qualified individual to fill an Actuary 2 position . This position is assigned to the Rates, Forms and Provider Networks Division, located in our Tumwater office.

We are looking for an individual with a desire to help create a healthy insurance market for consumers by regulating Washington State insurance providers. You must be courteous in a professional setting, task oriented, adept, and savvy with navigating various software tools.
This Actuary 2 position is a professional level position that is responsible for reviewing property and casualty rate filings. Performing the actuarial components of financial examinations of domestic property and casualty insurers is an essential function of the work performed.

This is a Washington General Service position. The monthly salary range for this position is $8,758 - $11,775.
