:swear: my guess 5 was a typo. Had it 100%, but then transposed. Unfortunately, the transposition was also a word, so the guess counted, and I got 0 additional info toward any word.

Almost. I swear that they are making Rescue games harder.
I don’t know about harder. I tend to think not, They have always been hard. Here are my stats, winning slight under half the time.
Tho this is an extremely small statistic, I feel sure than both of my times with only 5 solved were in the most recent 25% of games, which would suggest harder.

I have not saved my stats in the Octordle page, right now my history only shows 5 games but I know that I went quite a while with only one Rescue failure. It’s only since I started posting results here that I have made a point of playing every day.

Incredible. Blundered with an impossible guess 5. Then things went well, until I had one guess left on word 1, with only 1 green and 2 yellows to go on (and only one spot, except the green, eliminated for each yellow). And got it right!

At the end I had #2 and #3. I identified 3 possibilities for #2 and 4 for #3 so I tried #2 first. Obviously I was wrong and in the end I did not even consider the right answer for #3.

Never got anything more on word 3 (except a yellow with NYLON). Odd that no T needed in the other 7.
Steve, your yellow on word 3 was given as a green from the start.
Right, I wasn’t confused about that. Hence “more”. I got a green (but the same green, so not “more” in guess 4), and a yellow from NYLON later, proving there was not a Y in both position 2 and 5. No further information about the yellow A or S in any guess
