WTF? I just finished this today, thinking some of the words were familiar. Than I noticed PatientZombie pasted 168 the same day I posted 166, and see I had already posted 166 and 167. The original 166 and 167 were done on my iPad and posted from it. The new 166 was posted from my iMac today, also started on the iMac today. No existing guesses. I couldn’t have started 166 on the iMac on Saturday, since I wasn’t home that day. But maybe since 165 was the last game I played on the iPad, it gave me 166 today. Very strange. Anyway, noticing the issue I closed the iMac browser, reopened it, and got to play 168, barely getting it.

I’m pretty sure I have only 17 games since I started the “new” version that gives you a daily score = total of the successful guess numbers.

But what is the Daily Sequence about?

Thanks, but I’ll pass on the Daily Sequence. Extremely unlikely to happen, but can you imagine someone’s frustration if they had a Daily Sequence streak going, and lost it because their first guess happened to be one of words 2-8?

Bummer. I decided to try to guess the words in order, and as the results show, I did. That was motivated by the fact the the irresistible BACON looked like a good choice for word 1. Wrong, unfortunately, then right on second shot at it and then all the guesses looked quite good until word 6. I would definitely not have tried word 6, sixth: more confidence at words 7 and 8, plus the guesses on those would definitely help on word 6 (if my planned guess for word 6 was wrong, the guesses on 7 and 8 would tell me). Alls well that ends well, except it didn’t. Apparently you have to commit playing for Sequence in advance. Not gonna bother.
