I think we should have a NAU just like Europe has the European Union with free flow of goods, services, and labor between the member countries.
I’m okay with keeping Nicaragua and El Salvador out until they lessen their dictatorial tendencies.
Great idea. We’ll only admit countries with progressive and/or left-leaning governments, and kick them out (or sanction them back to the stone age) if it ever reverses. Definitely we should model it after the EU to imitate its success.

That and, that’s basically what NAFTA (and rebranded NAFTA) already seek to do with Canada and Mexico, but without the unpleasant political changes and just opening the door to anyone in this hemisphere who wants to move to the US.

I am disappointed that no candidate has supported the formation of the NAU. Gotta wait at least another 4 years I guess.
